This site is dedicated to the Schwimmwagen, the amphibious German military vehicle from World War II, manufactured by Volkswagen as type 166.

Today the VW 166 are seldom to be found historical vehicles for private collections or museums.

This site presents characteristics, story, pictures and videos about the restored Schwimmwagen with serial number 7-001 036.
